We have booked 3d2n holiday to thailand in sep 09 and we were served by a china lady Cathy. She told us that our package include 1/2day city tour but when we went there, the tour guide told us that our package doesn't included.

glad to read this thread... was almost going to book a trip w them after seeing their "attractive" advert.

it's a matter of time before they get obsolete for the way they conduct business. this is singapore, not china leh.

so true, you need to brush up on your translation to English.

I do agree that all feedback is important, but I guess most of you are just starting to travel with tour groups and that is why you all are saying that... I've travel a few times with tour groups with different companies and all the tour leader understand that there is a group nowadays will give 100% good and worthy feedback, all you all are think are only what you want...

Use your own company that you are working in, is your company going to do a product that when one client say he/she they want something different? I would suggest that client to go for Free & Easy package themselves.... Not only Korea / Japan / China, Free & Easy traveling is easy, just do everything by ourself and you will sure able to do everything you like...

And if all of you have a calulator at home, count this...
1 tour group = 10 client
1 year = 20 group depart to korea
20 X 10 = 200 client
your 1 feedback is only 0.5%...

Next time get your whole group to feedback together... that would at be 5% from the total...

This is Singaporean just like what others has stated... sickening... self centered Singaporean... maybe if you all quit the habbit of standing infont of the MRT door, you all will be traveling happier...

I went to buy 2 coach tickets to KL, they quoted me $29 each ticket.

I was made like a fool when I went to their office in China Town (closed now) to collect the tickets where they were unavailable. They promise to deliever to me the next day and I waited for more then 24 hrs and hear nothing from them until I called on the day after next.

When I received the tickets, it was stated clearly that each ticket was $27. When I clarify with them, they said it was a service charged. This wasn't told when I ask for the tickets. They breached the Fair Trade Act!

When I requested a refund via email with reminder, 3 days ago, they did not bother to reply.

This is the kind of thrid class lousy service I received from them.

NOT RECOMMENDED TO DO BUSINESS WITH THEM! HINDEN CHARGES!

Fully agree with what was said above. The elder lady was really rude and threatening. Just remind everyone do not step into this travel agent, it is really the worst travel agency in Singapore

I went to Seiki @ Lucky Plaza. There were no other staff there except a freshy & eldery with China slang women. I ask her abt a cruise they posted outside, which is 1N cruise, 4 to go. She replied fully booked. So I ask another 2D1N Nirwana cruise this time round. You know what she replied me? "I've told you that its already fully booked right!" Then I said: Yes, u told me but now I'm asking for 2D1N. She said:1N & 2D1N cruise is the same thing, fully booked! in her China slang. If those whatever 1N or 2D1N cruise are the same, why bother to posted 2 separate & different poster, ols maid! I did ask her that why they posted it if they are the same with no reply from her and she even multi-tasks then, calling someone else with upset tone and just ignore me! Is that you call entertaining customer? I can tell that she is definitely not trained! I would not have step into that shop again! Do you think you are the only travel agency out there! Even you are, I rather stay @ home with my ugly maid than to see her face! My ugly maid is even better looking then that old bitch! Readers, do think twice when you see SEIKI this travel agency !

I believe the manager you're talking about is this lady called "Kathy." She had the nerve to yell at my girlfriend after lying to her about a booking and refusing to return the deposit.

Very shady company. Do not go to Seiki Holidays at the Lucky Plaza outlet. Do not engage with any travel agents from Lucky Plaza, period. I believe the IMM one is no better because well, they share the same boss.

I was told the main boss is based in China.

Hey I thought this would be helpful, I found this listed on "Seiki Travel" which is not "Seiki Holidays" They are referring to this company, Seiki Holidays, Lucky Plaza outlet.

"In Jun 08, my wife and I when to the Seiki at Lucky Plaza (Not sure if it is the same company as the heading) to book a tour package. The sale woman attended to us was very nice when we confirmed our tour package. She highlighted that once all the booking had been confirmed, she will sent all the booking slip to us thru despatch. She explained that the hotel we want might not have vacancy and advice that we will have to top-up the different in the event that a more exp hotel was booked. We agreed on that and she highlighted that we could pay the despatch the difference when she delivery the booking confirmation to our resident. However, the very next day, we receive an email asking for a top-up of $80+ to be transfered to the company account, we reply the email to ask for the branch so that we could do the transfer, but there was not reply. We also tried to called her several time and by the time we could get her, it was 3 day before our departure date. We advice her that we could pay the despatch cash when he deliver the booking confirmation but she claimed that she could not sent the despatch till we had paid in full. When we advice her that bank transfer takes about 3 days, she mentioned that it is ok for us to transfer the $ and sent her the transfer advice via email. After doing so, she claimed that she had to see the amount in her bank before she could sent/release the booking confirmation. Finally, we had no choice but to make another trip to the office to pay the different in cash and get the booking confirmation on the spot cos we would risk miss our departure date if we insist to wait. This is the kind of service that we had received apart from her indifferent attitude when we call her. She even slam my wife call when my wife insist that the despatch collect the $ when deliver the confirmation... For those looking for a pleasant holiday, thing twice......"

I went to their outlet at Lucky Plaza, Orchard..

The service is slow, and the staff resorts to the same gimmick of offering you an "affordable package" only to up the price the moment you pay the deposit. Same old story.

Assisting staff has little/no knowledge of English and cannot process your requests. The manager is rude and threatening.

If you are looking for a good travel agent for the long-term, this company cannot be trusted.

Report them to CASE (Consumer Association of Singapore) if they had violated of your rights as a consumer or have provided you with very poor service.

I recently found out that a Singaporean friend of mine were treated badly and were bullied by them too.

In September 2007, i booked a free & easy 3D2N Taipei to travel in December 2007 , that's making plans 3 mths in advance! On the day of booking, I re-confirm with the staff that there's no further increase in price of package before putting down $500 deposit. Otherwise, the price will be the same as any other agents. The staff was even on the phone to confirm the flight, although hotel confirmation takes longer.
One week later, seiki called and requested for $50 increase in airline surcharge due to peak season! Huh? I though Seiki confirmed that price we booked is final, that's why i paid the deposit!
Finally, i said fine, $50 per head is reasonable, considering that its peak period, other agents are having that kind of price. ("Which defeats choosing Seiki in the very first place) After that $50 increase, the price is no longer cheaper. I felt cheated, its the second time they run the same trick, the previous Hong kong trip they also increase price half way.
One month later, Seiki (another staff) called again to inform me that the airline (ChinaAir) is increasing the peak charge by another $20! At first, i was puzzle, and was about to agree to that request, then i realised, Seiki is taking their customer for a ride!
After asking them what then, if I disagree with the price raise? They say it can then be cancelled. I demanded that the whole thing be cancelled since Seiki cannot keep their end of the bargain, Seiki to give full refund by cheque or I can collect cash myself. Seiki says ok and will inform me later. Immediately, i made other arrangement for my trip and made my own flight bookings, for fear of not being able to get any other airline seats anymore. I blamed myself for trusting Seiki and place my deposit with them (and losing my interests). ANGRY!
Next day evening, Seiki didn't call me, so I called, instead of telling me abt refund, the girl told me that they can now offer me the pakage at the original agreed price. I said no, cos both parties had agreed to cancelling the arrangement and i have since proceed to make other urgent arrangement, for fear of not being able to get flight tickets during the peak period. The case dragged for a week, with me constantly calling them for update, while their people kept avoiding me. Requested them to call me on 11 Oct 2007 for an answer, and patience reap no return call at all! Upon calling them (6 times!) on Sat (13 Oct 2007), the staff promised to call back after consulting the manager, the line was cut off and the staff didn't call back. On calling in, the other staff claimed that she have left the office and went home! What nonsense! Demanded the manager's number and called to file a complaint. She agreed to investigate and return call on Monday or Tuesday.
Can you imagine? Its your own money, and you cannot get it back. How frustrating is that? You plan early, make early bookings and yet to be treated as if no confirmation was done, how rediculous it this?
Unless of course, someone agreed with their repeated hike in "surcharges". Tell me then, who can promise they won't increase further, down the next two month before reaching Dec 2007.
