Disappointed service from konsortium. We travelled to ch last Sunday night. The driver doesn't care to reduce the air-con once we reaching to the high lands. It was too cold. Cannot check in hotel once we reach ch. need to wait for another 6 hrs for the check in to any hotel. The counter part there, "tits"wangsa guys will make this opportunity to make business by convincing us to take one hill side tour so that when we come back, we can check in. One package will cost from 25-75 rm per person. The tours are worse. In the leaflet provided, the time taken for one such tour is 3-4 hrs. But actually it will only take 2-3 hrs the max. Self picking of strawberry is charged-20rm for half kg. this charge is only for the farms authorize by "tits"wangsa. The other farms will sell for 5 rm onwards regardless of the weight.

Saya sebagai seorang penumpang bus ekspres Konsortium ingin membuat aduan terhadap pekhidmatan syarikat pihak tuan.
Kenapa mereka dibenarkan menaiki bus? Adakah mereka membeli tiket?

After reading all the reviews by previous customers,i agree with what they say. I also encoutered a bad experience with Konsortium, book a coach to Genting on 17th Nov n back on 19th. Early tat morning, ensembles @Sun Plaza and we made transfer to Boon Lay Branch was given the coach no. but when reach there we couldn\'t find tat coach. After going round searching for quite awhile we approach another coach which belong to Konsortium which is of a different no. and the staff told us to aboard saying tat they have change to tat particular coach. I think they should keep us inform tat they hav changed to another coach rather then making us going round thinking tat the coach had left. The worst is when coming back to spore tat day, was told to wait @ bus bay 10 for coach no.9260 we reached around 1.30pm @tat particular bay but we saw another coach parking there. After searching for awhile, we finally saw tat particular coach going round the parking area. I approached the driver and asked him wat time is the departure time, he told us around 2pm and there\'s no parking lot 4 him so he just drove around. We thought since he is still waiting for parking lot and there are no passengers up in the bus yet, we quickly went to get some snacks for our lunch and it takes less than 10mins. After returning, we saw the coach park @another bay which does not belong to Konsortium, when we was about to approach, he drove off and another coach came in,thinking maybe he gave the lot out to the coach which belong to tat company, we still kept waiting but no sight of it. We went to the counter to check with the staff and after calling the driver, she told us the bus had left and claiming tat is not his fault. That staff managed to arranged for us to take a lift from Five Stars coach. I find tat the driver is very irresponsible, he should announced the departure like other agent\'s drivers did rather than just drove off leaving customers behind in Genting. After this incident, this friend of mine told me previous wk on the 12th nov she also booked through Konsortium, the worst is the coach brokedown on the way up to Genting when reaching the Hotel, they were told to alight and walk up. It seems tat most of the reviews are all about the coaches and driver\'s attitude. They should upgrade their coaches since it gave so much problems for all of us customers.
I email to the management but no reply at all till date, is been a month soon. I wondered wat had happened to this agent, customers book tour through them, giving them business and ended up unhappy and dissapointed with their services and yet they don\'t even bother to reply after our feedback. I will have to seriously considerd or maybe will not book trips from Konsortium again.

I had a bad experience with Konsortium bus service too. Last Friday, 13/8/10, I bought a ticket online for the bus departing at 7:45pm. I waited until it's over 8pm when the staff reported the bus arrived but didn't tell the platform clearly. I was unable to find the bus. When I went to the counter and asked again, one of the staff shouted the bus plate number but when I went to find again, the bus took off. I went to the counter to complaint and they asked me to take the bus departing at 8:30pm. The staff attitude was terribly rude. He said you want to take the bus or not! They dared to let another person who bought the bus for 8:30pm to take my seat but yet they dared to be rude to the customer! It's not the end of the nightmare yet. The bus I took with plate number JGD7022 left at almost 8:40pm. When the bus arrived at the Ladang Bikam rest area, the driver reported he was unable to engage the gear and we had to wait from 10pm until about 12:30am before the problem was rectified and finally resumed the journey. Instead of reaching Taiping at 11pm if I didn't miss the 7:45pm bus or 12am if the 8:30pm bus didn't break down, I reached Taiping at 3:30am. That's really ridiculous! Now I would seriously consider avoiding this Konsortium bus service departing from KL.

My family and I had used the online system at www.kbes.com.my to book a coach from Ipoh to Singapore. We boarded the bus at Ipoh, Medan Gopeng. The bus plate number is JJQ3296, leaving at 830pm. The 2 assigned drivers are totally incorrigible, as they do not have any respect and courtesy to passengers on board at all. Below is a description of what I have experienced;
1) Technical aspect of the bus. The bus itself was ok however there was a loud high pitched sound coming from the speakers itself and the driver himself came to check on it but choose to ignore it as he himself does not know how to solve it. Luckily after 2 hours into the ride, the high pitched sound managed to go away.
2) The drivers exploited the company’s coach by ferrying his own goods. Immediately after leaving the terminal bus station from Medan Gopeng, the driver went to pick up their own goods which filled up 2 external luggage compartments by the side of the bus. I believe they are vegetables and such as they are mostly wrapped in newspaper. This is purely based on my assumption due to the place it stopped(a nearby bus-stop near to Medan Gopeng) and the huge amount of goods. At least 3-4 people helped to load the goods up the coach.
3) 5 hours into the ride non stop without any toilet breaks(830pm to 1230am), my mum had a splitting headache and needed to go to washroom urgently. She went to enquire about the next toilet break and the driver chooses to ignore my mum. I went to ask the driver myself and the driver shouted:”Wait LAH, WAIT LAH”. This is the kind of customer service they provide. Instead of giving a time
estimate they shouted at passengers.
4) Finally we are at the 2nd designated stop place, Yong Peng. After 20-30mins or so the drivers gathered and decided to leave the rest place. The co-driver did a rough check on the number of passengers and told the driver it’s ok. To my horror they are actually missing a passenger onboard. The stranded passenger RAN after the coach and only then they stopped and pick him up. This is totally UNACCEPTABLE and INTOLERABLE. This is what prompted me to write this review.
Dear travelers, before you made up your mind to travel with Konsortium do a google search on their customer reviews. I was hoping that this is just an isolated incident but this isn’t true, most of the reviews are and now I get to experience it firsthand. Bear in mind that the drivers have difficulty understand English and proves to be language barrier to foreign travelers. They do not have any proper training and lacks discipline to even count the number of passengers properly. They can’t even be bothered with you at all. I will definitely not travel with Konsortium ever again.
Having the motto of “Serving you is our privilege, your satisfaction is our commitment”, I wonder where is the service and where is the satisfaction? I am only glad to make it alive from Ipoh to Singapore. In fact I really wanted to tolerate the poor service but thinking that future passengers/customers of Konsortium could be left behind stranded at rest places I had to write this review.

WORST COMPANY EVER 5.5 HOUR LATE ON SCHEDULE (with no traffic jam), DRIVERS WERE RUDE AND INCOMPETENT, COACHES WERE DIRTY, TRASH EVERYWHERE!
We took the bus from Cameron Highlands to Singapore, you need to take a bus so you are hostages of this kind of bus company. worst trip ever!
Where to begin?
-two hours and a half late at the pick-up point, said that it is because of the traffic jam but there were three coaches and the first one arrived just 45min late, meaning that our bus (the third one of course!) was already late before.
-they lied to us for everything :
said that we will reach singapore in 9 hours, with two breaks (two drivers were alternating) to catch up the with the late.
Results: with no traffic jam, almost 12 hours to reach singapore (+2.5 hour late), and they dropped us at Chinese Garden! instead of Golden Mile Tower, opposite on the map.
Causes of the late during the trip:
according to them, traffic jam! only one answer, traffic jam!
Hello I was in the bus and there was no traffic jam at all but we had to pickup some people around KL (lost one hour) which was not planned at all, then we had to stop for dinner in a crappy place for almost one hour...
the drivers gave us no explanation except that it was planned (but they did'nt tell us...)
And I was wondering how were we supposed to stop to have dinner while if he hadn't had 5 hour late we could have had dinner in Singapore at HOME!
To sum up, never take KONSORTIUM!
I believe that it is the worst service ever!

ohmygod this travel agency is the WORST I HAVE EVER MET . i wrote a letter to the management and got NO REPLY BACK AT ALL. I'm thinking of writing to the papers if they still don't reply me.
I went down to the agency and checked with them their prices for the 3D2N berjaya package and they told me it's $198. I asked them a few times if it's considered peak period and they staff said no so many times. Before i went down, i double checked again with their staff by calling and she said it's $198.
When i went down, the price became $238 !! Imagine an extra $40 for me and my whole group of friends going. Worse of all, when i told them about it, they showed ZERO sign of remorse like as if i'm unreasonable for kicking up such a fuss about a small matter.
I am not a very free person with every single day of my life to waste, going on holidays. I need to reschedule my appointments and incur opportunity costs, so does all of my friends. I can't change my dates as and when i like .
This company is EXTREMELY IRRESPONSIBLE for the kind of information they give to customers, changing them AS AND WHEN THEY PLEASE, like as if it is normal of them to do so. If not they wouldn't have showed such a LACK OF SYMPATHY.
Worse of all, a management that doesn't seem to know how to REPLY to customer's complaints.

Totally agree with some of the above comments about Konsortium's safety issues. I signed on a 2D1N tour to genting with them and both the to and fro road trips were horrendous.
There was a “well-spread” crack on the whole glass panel of the coach's window pasted with pieces scotch tape. Small pieces of glasses were flunking out as the coach moved under extremely shaking conditions. I was super worried about my safety as i was seated next to that window.
Also, the driver couldn't be bothered to seek help when the steering wheel is not working. We were indeed very lucky to be alive and not fallen to death downhill from genting. The driver did not contact the person in-charge initially; instead, he contacted a “technician” who claimed that the coach was in safe conditions after “fixing” it with just a spanner. The technician admitted that the steering wheel was still not in working conditions after being reprimanded by some of the passengers.
Nevertheless, the driver told us to board the coach and said that he would send the coach for maintenance after reaching Singapore. I do not remember the route from Kuala Lumpur back to Singapore is a straight road which does not require the driver to make turns with the steering wheel. He is not being responsible for making such a remark. Who were to take this responsibility of 26 lives if the coach were to meet with mishap along the 5-hour journey back to Singapore?
I will definitely advise people who wish to travel with Konsortium to think really thoroughly before they decide to risk their lives by travelling with this irresponsible company.

My parents booked tickets for a Konsortium express bus to Cameron Highlands just last Saturday night.
It turned out to be some other express bus (not a Konsortium bus!) they were taking. And goodness knows where the driver came from too. Because very unfortunately, the bus ended up with an accident along the highway.
Somewhere near Malacca in the middle of the night, the driver was on his handphone, he lost control and the bus ended up in the drain. Fortunately enough, most of the passengers had only minor injuries. But they were left stranded waiting for the replacement bus in the dark. The driver was not apologetic at all and definitely not helpful after the incident happened. No police car turned up and the ambulance only arrived an hour later.
The company did not follow-up with the affected passengers after the incident.
Please, please do not take up any services with this company. After the incident, I am appalled by the bad experience that my family had to undergo. I myself had recommended Konsortium since they had daily services to Cameron Highlands and I had taken their coach some time ago.
You will discover many more unpleasant truths about this particular company if you surf around.
Customer service is one thing. But there is real lack of concern over safety in this company.
For your sake and for your loved ones' sake, do your deepest research when it comes to taking coach service to Malaysia.

GOSH!
i'm so gonna complaint about the incidence that happened few days ago when me n my siblings are travelling back to IPOH. I'm gonna COMPLAINT COMPLAINT till all those pig headed, brainless workers, those that never deserved to be named as human beings, not even animals! not not even dust! UNTIL the company fired them or anything.... just Please just vanish from the universe!!!!!!
chill chill.............. okay.... it strated like that!
Bcoz it's kinda precious for me, my sister and my brother to have holidays in the same time. So, we plan to pay a visit to grandma in IPOH. Then, on that morning itself (last wednesday).. we head to the most dirty place in town. PUDU bus station to get the bus tickets for 4.30pm KL - IPOH! A man from the counter gave us a piece of thin paper as the ticket for 3 of us! I was like.. huh?! that's it???.. He said, yah.. it's a free sitting.. first come first serve! Normally, bus ticket from that konsortium company is printed by machine on a paper.. with seats located! Then.. we thought it might be some changes we don't know lor.....
On 4.30pm.. we sit in the bus as usual.. then a bunch of girls with the original printed bus ticket came late... and yelling that they have no seats. SO! the guy which is incharged to check tickets asked us and a few more people who is having the same tickets that look different from the original to leave the bus and change for a original ticket!!! OMFG! What the helll!!!! hey, we paid the same amount as all of the other passangers! and we wanted the bus at 4.30pm! then after quarreling with the that ticket checker guy which doesn't make any sence at all! some of the malays give up and leave the bus! OMG... how could they! it's our rights as well what! why are they giving up! then one by one.. all of them leave the bus including us. No point what, since that bus ticket checker is a dumbo. Me and my sis... along with our lil bro went to the office of konsortium, we argue with the manangement about this problem! they said.. it's their machine error, so they can't track back that how many tickets had been sold. WHAT?! then don't sell any ticket at that moment lar! yor.. stupid izzit?! how can a bus fit in so many passangers if u keep selling the tickets! that's why i said they're brianless lor! YOR! then they assure that we will have a seat on the 5.30pm bus. BUT it's already one hour passed lor! I will really want them to pay back my lost 1 hour! no matter how. if not. i'm gonna complaint this case to what ever source that i could! until it bcomes a big impact to their company!!!!!
really very frustrated about our customer serivice! how can it be like this! it's so againt's human rights! you know what, some other victim like us(malays) went to the counter and change back the ticket to cash. That's it. That's how the company treat their mistakes towards customers! What if they can't get any ticket back to Ipoh with the cash that they got back, because it's kinda late already..... then... walao eh! They should have go complaint to the office like what we did. At least make sure we'll have a seat on 5.30pm bus. AND.. also complanit to get back our lost 1 hour. maybe some voulcher or anything! we deserved!!!!!!!

I have bought a ticket from Singapore to Kuala Lumpur on Konsortium. On the way back form KL, the bus was late to pick me up by 2hours, the bus took 1hour break at a stop instead of usual half an hour, and to top it all, it left me at Woodland although I confirmed with the driver I am going to Golden Mile Tower. It was already midnight and I was left alone at Woodland check point without knowing whether the bus is coming to pick me. I had to take the city bus, MRT, and taxi home. When I complained the day after, the manager Robin was not prompt to listen to my comlains. About 1month later, they finally gave me back the money for the taxi but not for the MRT and bus since there is no receipt. I will never use Konsortium service and I advise people not to if they dont want to be left alone somewhere they don't know.

I and my hubby replace my friend as he could not make it to Tioman last June 2008. The journey to mersing ferry is ok BUT........the tour guide on that day is not up to the standard as her english is terrible and she spoke in mandarin most of the time. How can malays and other races tourist understand what is she saying.
She is also not friendly. I and my husband are on 1st time going to Tioman Therefore, we are not sure what to do when we reached tioman. I decided to ask the Tour Guide where shld i go once i reached Tioman. To my surprise, she just said "DUN KNOW!!!" she even asked me to find out myself.
I felt very dissappointed coz i felt that as a tour guide how come she don't know anything and furthermore she is a malaysian.
After 3 days in Tioman, we returned and took the same coach to singapore. Once we reached JB immigration, the same tour guide just alight and left us. I noticed the bus driver also allow people who i believe his relatives or friends to board the same bus as us to singapore. can you imagine, the bus is already full with pple likes us who paid for the coach and other pple can simple take easy way to take the bus to come in singapore.

4/9/08, my husband and I’d booked coach tickets with Aeroline to sunway. Upon departure I realised that I’ve taken my daughter’s passport instead. I was my mistake and left with no choice I have to go home to get my passport and grab the next available coach that come by.
I called Konsortium which is my greatest mistake. The staff who picked up the phone told me next coach to KL was at 10.30am. So I asked her is there pick up at sun plaza, which is nearest to my house. The staff told me YES but must reach there 30 mins before departure. I repeated my question to confirm.
I reached sun plaza at 9.45am. First question I asked the staff (later I know that her name is DOREEN) is there any pick up at sunplaza at 10.30am? She replied me… hmmm, I haven’t on the computer so I cannot answer you, I said I’m just need to know is there any pick up at sun plaza… She replied me : ” I’m sweeping the floor now, I cannot answer you.Can u come in again at 10am, our office open at 10am.”
Fine, I went in at 10am sharp. I repeated my question. She said NO, there is no such thing, pick up is only at beach road. I was burning then, why cant she just tell me at 9.45am so that I can rush to Beach road. After some heated arguement, I rushed a cab down to beach road. To the fair, during the 10 minutes when I was at sun plaza branch, there was a nice lady who was very helpful, unfortuately I didnt get her name. She had called the beach road branch to get the coach to wait for us.
On my way to beach road, I called sun plaza again at 10.25am. They told me not to worry, they have confirmed with beach road branch and the coach guaranttee wait for me as it was their mistake. I reached beach road at 10.35am. Know what, the coach has left! The staff at beach road claimed that they do not know anything. They told me the next coach will be 1pm while sun plaza told me was 11am… I simply refuse to talk to them further, I rushed next door, bought a coach ticket from grassland within 5 minutes and took a 10.45am coach to kl without any problem … It's really terrible, especially Miss DOREEN. Please learn to sweep the floor with your hand and answer your customer with your mouth. You dont need your mouth to sweep the floor with your mouth.
