Hm I think dynasty covers more places in swit. But then again, it\'s not good enough to justify the high prices. SA tours touch down at paris first. So maybe one day is free and easy for u to do shopping.

Hi,
Anyone comparing this 12D swiss/italy package from different agencies?
I found SuperTravel, JPI were cheaper. And SA, Dynasty were more expensive.
Anyone decided to go?
Swiss / Italy wrote on 24 February 2010
Did anyone book the 12D swit/italy package? Can anyone explain why it costs abt 3.7k per person (including tax)for dynasty? Compared to SA tour which is 3098 for 1st pax and 2598 for 2nd pax before tax.

Disappointed with the service. Booked trip to Hong Kong for Cathay Pacific flight in March 2010. Receive call from Dynasty saying that not able to do so, because Cathay Pacific do not accept their booking. Come on, I had booked 3 months ago. What sort of excuses they can give? This will be my first & last time.

Your review two weeks have passed already still no call back from Dyansty. What is it with them ? Are they so shorthanded ? Message not passed ? Or simply boh chap. Well actually not surprised by the attitude, when I was at the agency not too long ago, that was the feeling I got from the staff. Just boh chap lah, still got customers will come.

Your review Melbourne was great in Dec 09, could have been better with Dynasty's help, example someone from the tour group has to ask for a better bus, can u imagine that. Agree on bringing little ones, aiyah wait for them to grow up lah then you can enjoy ! Dinner provided was kind of yucks. So much to see but not enuf time. We rushed thru the strawberry farm only to find out that someone lost her phone and waited for her to find it and finally she didn't loose it, precious time wasted

Your review
went to melbourne 7d5n tour (23dec-29dec) very inefficient dynasty staff in melb who paid no attention to cust's special requests of seats in plane, all messed up fm melb->sin. Melb is such a beautiful place tour was planned with 3 vineyard visits, not necessary, Chandon was the best one and Dynasty could have arranged for other sights, perhaps cruise on the Yara River or any of the optional tours so there is no need for custs to think of optional tours. 3 chinese dinners was hard to stomach, same thing, completely no ideas at all. I feel there was no effort on Dynasty's part for assortment. 6 non-chinese on the tour which made it possible for the tour to move, Dynasty should have taken this into consideration. Fortunately we had a very good driver who took care of us on the road and made our trip worth while. Dynasty should replan itinerary especially on dinners and repetitive tours. One more thing, I think it's a bad idea for tours to move with babies (1-5yrs). At the agency I asked if there were young children on the tour, I was not given a satisfactory answer, if I had know there was a baby on board, I would not have joined this tour. Back in Spore (30 Dec 09) I asked for confirmation of name of Dynasty manager in Melboure, upto today no call from Dynasty. I believe I spoke to a certain Mr. Brian ? What happened ? Where is the after service ? Put in more effort Dynasty !!

E tour leader, called Anna Tan, Taiwanese hockkian sai. She is unprofessional & talk nonsence everytime. Not knowledgeable. Her joke only she is enjoying. Somemore, she said dynasty want her to in counter sale. Oh, my god! If she is in e counter, I dunno wat will happen? How come Dynasty staffs standard r so low & no standard.

Service provided by Dynasty Corporate ticketing is suck. My booking was cancelled and never inform again to issue the ticket. At the end, I have teach her how to do another booking in order to get my flight on the date I needed. I am a business traveller and always required flexible flight booking. However, she booked me a promotion ticket and I have to pay heavy penalty in order to change flight date. Is she really understand what a corporate customer need? The thing come worst as she threaten me not to talk with airline directly as this will "JEOPRADIZE" my flight booking. She did many mistakes previously but at the end we have to bear the responsibility since we did not read carefully all the words in the document she sent. One word, SUCK.

My sister total of 12 persons booked their 8D6N Korea Winter fun departing 15 Dec 09. 1 day before departure the staff called to inform them that the flight is overbook and postpone their date to 16 Dec 09 instead. Last min notice. My sis friend need to catch a flight to China the next day after their return thereforn there is no way they can postpone the date. They went down to Dynasty on 15 Dec morning to make a big fuss out of it. In the end, they decide to drop other group instead of my sister group. As the flight is overbook, there will be NO LOCAL tourguide to follow them to Korea. How can this thing happen 1 day b4 departure? Can't imagine how the other group going to deal with them.

We book Taiwan Trip (departure during next year CNY) during Natas, than last month the staff call & said itinerary change due to local agent anticipating traffic jam during CNY, they skipped lots of places & replaced by cheap & lousy places, furthermore last day give us free & esy whole day, but the package price remained unchanged.

It like short change to me, lucky I managed to get a refund.

Please be extra carefull when making booking with them

Hi Angela,, I have the same experience as yours, so no choice have to change to 6Days 4 Night Japan Experience trip to 28 December 2009. Unfortunately, my mother in law is currently in the hospital, my husband wants me to change it to next year School holiday because we are family of five. This Dynasty Travel instead of helping and you know what they want to charge us S$150.00 per person which means total of S$750.00 just to change the date. They told me because the airline wants to charge them and they charge us but was not true because I call SIA to confirm. I think this Company is too much. Since someone mentioned here that we can bring it up to CASE, I will do it. I will try to call SIA again, hopefully they will cancel the trip with Dynasty and I will make sure Dynasty make a full refund to us. This is the first family trip and really my luck to take up the trip from Dynasty travel. In future, I will never book any trip with them again. If they have any promotion at any Exhibition hall, I will make sure all their customer go to another travel agent. I wonder who is the Company boss, he should wake up, as a service line Company, they should provide a good service and not let their customers down.

Yo, wish I had read the reviews earlier. Noted tat many of u say Dynasty cancelled without valid reason. Same thing happened to me. Enquired abt Egypt tour. Staff highly recommend one with Mt Sinai tour. Also showed us another trip without Sinai but same price and same departure date 17 Dec. B4 booking staff say we are last 4 they will accept. 3 days later, called to say group too big, have to cancel us. Didn't expect them to make this type of mistake. They shld be experienced enough. To add insult to injury recommended us to the tour without Mt Sinai but ask us to pay $50 more per person. Where is goodwill? I ask Manager to explain but received no reply. I note 2009 have most of the complaints. We need to write to Case so they have record if not they always get away with it. Could not book any other trip as I'm only able to travel from 17 Dec onwards. It's too close to Christmas, many people also travelling. So sad that Dynasty spoiled my holiday like that. Worked one whole year n look forward to family holiday together. They are so unprofessional.

I’m quite shock to had read all these bad comments about dynasty.
All along I thought it’s pretty good in Singapore.
I had booked a 13 Days New Zealand tour with them.
On the tour briefing day, a lady in my tour suddenly broke out into tears complaining about how the rude the staffs were to her.
I can’t really hear what she was trying to say as she was crying badly.
But in summary, it seems that one of the staff there insulted her.
Looks like dynasty is famous of ATTITUDE STAFFS

Wow, i did not know dynasty travel has such free and "committed" staff who are willing to put themselves in a bad light for the interests of their company. This alone goes to show how unprofessional this tour group is, resorting to such obviously useless tactics to ink deals. This goes to show their low standard of integrity. I guess they have no business to do since they can afford time to type out such insincere and fake comments. Please do not damage the trustability of this site.

Thank you and have a nice day. i hope you staff would heed my comments and do business in a way such that people will have faith in you. Spend the time you have thinking of more attractive deals and promotions to win your customers in a more righteous manner. Please convey my message to your boss and to whoever who came out with this idea.

Hi...I am super super pissed. I booked the 9D7N Splendor of Tokyo and Korea on 9 August 2009 during their road show. They said that I'm the last couple entitled to the special price. Means there's already 10 pax. And to hit a minimum of 15 pax is very easy because there is still many months to go. Den, just THIS afternoon, i received call from them that it has been CANCELLED as there's only 6pax...And that the airline cancelled the flights to tokyo. I called the airline, they say they did not cancel any flights, it's just that the tickets for my 9 DEC departure is fully booked!!! OMG...It's my Honeymoon you know? Currently, I've been trying to get hold of that travel agent...from about 4pm till now...he's either on the line, out for late lunch, on the line again, or serving customer....Terrible service.

My family booked their 6D4N Korea Magical Winter departing 28 Dec 09 during the NATAS fair in Aug 09 and paid $1.5k deposit. We will informed by the agent from their Korea office that this group will surely form as they have more than 3 months to sell this package. Last month I called to check and was informed that the response was good. This month they start calling us to get us to change our departure date or alternatively cancel our booking. What service is this? This is our first time booking our holiday with Dynasty Travel and this is the service we get! Big disappointment. We really doubt their effort that they try to sell this package.

Just returned from my Korea trip with Dynasty. Of all other packages that I had purchased through Travel Agencies, Dynasty offered the best.

Although there was a minor heat-up due to the negligent of the Korea Tourism Board, overall, i am very satisfied with Dynasty of their timely follow-up, very committed and jovial Tour Leader and the group's, whether locally or in Korea, services.

Well Done! Keep it up, Dynasty! I will use Dynasty again.

Dynasty travel really sucks, 2 years ago, I booked their spain package and it was advertised in the newspaper as confirmed departure. Dynasty did not even called and informed that the trip was cancelled (I called to enquiry but no confirmation from their staff) until I went personally to their head office 1 week before departures to check. It was then I found out that the tour was being cancelled. I lodged a complaint with their branch manager and her reply is better. Over the phone, she told me \\\"who told you the tour was a confirmed tour\\\" next she even mentioned \\\"My staff called, you probably missed our call\\\". Unhappy with her reponse, I lodged a feedback with NATAS and Dynasty took a month to response to NATAS and worst, the reply was from this particular manager. This is the services I received from Dynasty Travel

Anyone book their 9D7N Splendor of Hokkaido and Korea package? It was promoted somewhere in Aug 09 and I had booked for a package departure on dec 09. I had also made $1k deposit.
I am very sad that they have not been selling since end Aug 09 and till now, they have not open the sales.
I called to enquire (did not disclose my particulars) and the staff lied that the package was so overwhelming that they close the booking even before NATAs. I called the agent who sold me the package and he also lied that is because not enough ppl had booked to form the tour. I told him it is impossible as my friend tried to book but being told it's closed. He then told me the truth that it's because they could not secure seats with Airline hence, temporary close the sales. I asked if i am able to switch package that has confirm departure dates and to my surprise, it is not allowed as the tour is not confirm cancelled. I am so so so disturb by it. I can only travel in late Dec due to my work commitment. Judging from the hot sales of other travel agencies, if Dynasty do not get back to me fast, I may not get to travel as the departure dates i want may be all sold out by then. Moreover, the later i book, the higher the price will be. Dynasty also has the rights to hold until 2wks before departure date then cancel my tour. Anyone in the same situation as me?

I won $1000 travel vouchers from Dynasty under a joint promotion with Marigold. I went down to Marigold HQ, and was given a letter to go to Dynasty to collect my vouchers.

The person in charge gave me 20pcs of $50 vouchers, validity 6 months.. and get this.. I am not able to combine the vouchers! So basically I have to travel 20 times in 6 months to use all the vouchers!!

I asked the manager why is it in such small denominations, and should it be $1000 as stated in the letter? They say they "reserve the right to issue in any denominations they wish", and it's up to me to.. TAKE IT OR LEAVE IT! -- word for word.

The idiot even told me that their tours have very low profit, and by using the $50 voucher for their tour, they are operating at a LOSS. what bullshit.

My boyfriend took each voucher, tore and shredded it to pieces and threw it at the manager's face cos we were soooooooo insulted by their "take it or leave it travel vouchers".

That was 2 years ago, and till today I will tell ANYONE and EVERYONE how horrible Dynasty is, and how bad their attitude is.

Quoted me a very good price over the phone when i called, said it's for first 10 customers only, and said flying to Europe by A380. Got me all excited and went down to their office in Clarke Quay personally.

Ended up, wrong price quoted. They got mixed up as there were a few European packages.

Quite a turn-off to listen further as we went down only to realise that the consultant has given the wrong price.

The Bhutan handling agent provide an excellent service too. The handling agent may be a small company but most importantly the service is good. I would highly recommend Dynasty Travel for your Bhutan Trip. I will definitely return to Dynasty for my future travel needs.

Korea Family Fun Fun

I just came back from Korea (6days Family Fun) with my family with Dyansty Travel. The trip is very fun...
We experienced the traditonal tatami style (accommodation) and the last day hotel in Seoul was very good (4 stars but I am impressed that the hotel is equally gooad as 5 stars standard.

This tour is very relaxing and we get to experience different type of Korea meals. We loves to shop and shop ... our koera tour guide given us more time to shop and we also have a pleaant and good tour leader from Singapore.

Especially for children, they enjoyed ATV ride, Seagull Cruise and Everland.

We will definitely rexommend our friends and relatives to join Dynasty Travel for future holidays.

I have been travelling with Dynasty Travel the last 3 times with my family to New Zealand, Egypt and recently Europe. We were 1st impressed with the service, attitude & patience of the staff from our enquiry to booking to the tour itself right from our trip to New Zealand. Many a times, staff from other travel agencies we enquired from have been impatient & rude, only interested in closing sales, ask few more questions, we get brushed off \" you want to book or not\" but at Dynasty Travel, the staff spent time to explain the itineraries and questions we have with patience & friendliness. We felt at home with a few staff we dealt with, and the tour leaders are very good & professional, that\'s why we kept going back again & again to them for our family tours. We had recommended friends & families to join them. They were quite happy with the tours they went. We recommend Dynasty Travel to anyone planning to go for holidays.
Kudos to the staff, keep up the good work!

my Bf and i booked a 8D6N Japan tour with them departing on 22 dec. In addition, we have requested for 2N extension in tokyo. The tour representative mentioned that as this is a group departure she will have to contact SQ to see if there is any seats available..( The chances should be high cos we will be taking A380 which can accomodate 800 more passengers). Fine we made a deposit! subsequently 2 weeks before departing, she contacted us tell us there are no seats available..so we tell her can u please try again cos we call SQ and they mentioned that there are still plenty of seats available..fine..my bf paid the remaining deposit on the 16 dec...on the 20th, we called the gal up ...she said no seats..( mind you she din call us..we have to call them). On 22th december, when we reach the airport, we look at the e-ticket , it was issued on 17th december..(this gal immediately issue the air ticket once they have received all the monies- she din bother to call us on 17 dec! )Thats the first disappointment! when we reached osaka, we will received by this "blur" tour guide who keeps acknowledging the group as "CHAN BROTHERS" despite that we purchased from dynasty travel..she did a very shoody job in introducing the places of interest ( Not much information was furnished) she just basically dropped us to the places of interest.."u all take a look har...here is the temple..we gather here in 30 mins time") is she a tour guide or a highly paid bus crew whose duty is to ensure that we reached the places of interest..it doesnt matter to her if we were briefed on the detailed background of the places of interest. As far as she was concerned, her obligation was fufilled as long as she brought us there....The food they served was completely cold and tastless...have you guys ever tasted tempura that was cold and soggy? if you have not, I did...it was quite eye-opening to eat "overnight tempura"..how about thin slices of cold panfried salted salmon slices..? YES U HEAR ME CORRECTLY is salty salmon...Most of the dishes they served are all below standard: 85% served are cold and tastless. On the third day, some of the group members already started to complain about itenary and the food..it really got so bad..that We come to a point that on one particular night the tour guide give us a refund (1500yen) on the dinner. Thats the wake up call for the tour guide..she started to behave differently..trying to act more friendly...too bad damage is done..I have nothing to complain about the accomodation..just average..not something fancyful... about 3 stars standard.. The worst thing that can ever to me was that i got insulted by the male driver..My bf had a very weak stomach and most of the time if he were to consume cold food, he will have" wind" and developed a tummyache. that was this particular incident that really pisses me off...as the place is huge and finding toilet is a chore, we were late for 4 mins, not grossly late ( I was finger pointed and insulted by the japanese driver)..Can anyone tells me who on earth in the service line will behave like that to a tourist)..This is utterly shocking and alarming..My mood totally shattered..thats not all!!! We decided to lodge a complain in Singapore the day after we landed in Singapore. On 30th december, we were attended by the supervisor, Doreen. She listened to our concerns with empathy and promised to revert once they carried out the investigation. On 7th Jan, I gotten a reply from Sharen( Customer service manager) that 85% the feedback that they gathered rated the tour guide good and excellent...I asked for the true sample size and how they derived from the calculation but they are not able to revert. So i dropped them an email stating that i will pay them a visit on 9th jan..when i reached there, the customer service manager, Sharen was not even there...( WASTED TIME AND EFFORT). i was attended by another supervisor, A. A told us that SHAREN was expecting us last week. I got A BIT ANNOYED!! I SAID NO!!IS THIS WEEK!!! I managed to login to gmail account and got him printed out our email correspondence which clearly states this week...GUYS OPEN UR EYES BIG please...CAN ANYONE TOLERATE THIS KIND OF IRRESPONSIBLE BEHAVIOUR? WE ended up narrating the story to A over and over again....but there is nothing he can do...ONE WORD TO DESCRIBE them UNPROFESSIOANL!!! cos the mgt is not around...just as we are about to leave, another MGR happens to walk in, JUilana. She simply brushes off....cutting every short conversation we had...i told her can she just listen to what i have to say first..she retorted NO I HAVE TO LISTEN TO HER INSTEAD !!!!i got agitated and she said she doesnt want to talk to me..in short she just said that dynasty just does not meet your expectations. case closed..before i leave i tell her that i will escalate..she said ya...
can u imagine what she said "we fufilled our legal obligation to bring you to the places of interest." Yes, but do you need a tour guide to do that? U JUST NEED A DRIVER cos not much explanation is required>>>
I WILL BE BRINGING THIS CASE TO NATAS AND CASE>>AND MY TERRRIBLE EXPERIENCE WITH THEM WILL BE SHARED with MANY AROUND ME. PLS DO NOT DO NOT BOOK ANY PACKAGE TOUR WITH THEM!!! THEY REALLY SUCKS BIG TIME!!!
