all these reviews sound very biased and one sided. Almost sounds like the employees and their employers are writing the reviews...hmmm

yesterday i've booked a tour to bangkok. 5days 4night for feb. A good deal i would say and the staff is always patience despite my wife angsty behaviour and undecisive action. I have been a regular customer of city99 since 2003, their standard of service is well maintained throughout and they are trustworthy. Many of my friends that booked also gave the thumbs up.

MY REVIEW FOR THIS TRAVEL AGENT WAS -0.0 IT WAS THE WORST SERVICE I'VE EVER HAD IN MY LIFE, THE REASON WHY "I JUST DONT REALLY UNDERSTAND FOR YOU AS A TRAVEL AGENT COULD LOST AN IMPORTANT DOCUMENT AND STILL BLAMING ME FOR THE LOST" IN THE END I DONT GET ANYTHING AS IN BENEFIT OF WHAT YOU GUYS HAVE DONE.. THE WORST SERVICE EVER EVEN SPOKEN TO SO CALLED " MANAGER" IT DOESNT HELP IF SHE ALWAYS DEFENSIVE... YOU GUYS SHOULD BE MORE PROFESSIONAL, SERIOUSLY IT WAS THE WORST WORST SERVICE EVER IN MY WHOLE LIFE... ;( BAD SERVICE...... REMINDER FOR THOSE PEOPLE WHOM LIKE TO ASK FOR THEIR SERVICE... SPECIALLY IF YOU NEED TO SUBMIT IMPORTANT DOCUMENT PLEASE BE SURE TO ASK THEM FOR A LETTER ACKNOWLEDGEMENT LETTER SEZ THAT THEY HAVE YOUR IMPORTANT DOCUMENT JUST INCASE THEY LOSTED....

I have join their Chengdu / Jiu Zhai Guo Tour last year. I agree the price is a bit high, but i dun mind paying more for the good accommodation and service. Overall i find it value for $$$$$$...

I have booked the tour to bangkok,the price of bangkok is very cheaper than other travelagents!counter staffs service is very good!

I have booked their free & easy tours a couple of times. Their staff has always been very helpful and polite. They are definitely the travel agency to go to around chinatown.

I have book a 5days Shanghai Tour with them. Although their price is slightly a bit high, but i don't mind paying that little extra for their good service.

i am sorry to the readers to bombard with the reviews but i hope this would save somebody from booking a misleading tour package.
i should be more specific in giving the details of the trip cost.
air tickets with tax (500 SGD) + same hotel rates as per hotel website (roughly 7000 baht for 3 nights accomodation) roughly 300 to max 350 SGD ..

which leaves the cost of that free and easy trip to max 900 SGD. as such there are nothing value addition services in the free & easy tour.. but if you charge something for such value addition services and stuff.. still you dont charge from the person full 400 SGD for that.. in this much amount, one more adult can enjoy the tour, which i simply paid as "their service charges".

though, to mention, the staff is very good. But i think their package price policies are not exactly fair.

Also, to add, for infant booking, the tiger airways ticket charge was 60 SGD for return journey and they charged 60 SGD more as a service charge, thus just infant ticket became 120 SGD (60 SGD flight ticket + 60 SGD agent service charge)... strange policy.. :|

I went to this agent twice.
Once for the guided tour to bangkok-pataya. The guided tour was nice and hotels were good. overall good value for money.
second time however, it was for free and easy package to Phuket. And i must say, the staff was very helpful and nice, but the prices were very expensive. I booked in hurry first with them and then checked on the internet the prices. And I ended up paying a lot extra then what I would have paid, If i had made the booking on my own. The hotels in May-June in phuket are at very low rate and the budget airline ticket has hardly any fare and almost everything is airport taxes, which are anyhow never included in the package.

I must say, its better to check the hotel rates and airline tickets on internet before taking a "free & easy" package deal from travel agent. You might end up spending a lot extra because of the agent service charges than what you pay for the actual hotel room rates.

One of the better travel agents around in chinatown. At least their staff is knowledgeable and honest. Will tell you all the hidden costs.

Have booked travel packages with them twice and always on good promo offers! Includes good hotels as well! Service staff are very helpful and patient. :) THumbs-up!

Their counter staffs product knowledge are good. Very polite and friendly.

I TRIED THIER FREE AND EASY TOUR TO HONGKONG RECENTLY. THE PRICE WAS ATTRACTIVE AND HOTEL RECOMMENDED BY THEM IS GOOD AS WELL.

As recommended by my colleague, I had joined their Korea Trip on Dec last year. I found the quality of services provided is very good! Nice hotel, nice food and friendly staff. I'll definately try their service again in the future.

I went to this agent twice, mainly on free and easy packages and air tickets. I am very satisfied with their service and highly recommend them for reliability.
